Strata Decision Technology acquires financial services advisory firm C Myers

Roper-backed Strata Decision Technology has acquired financial services advisory firm C Myers. The financial terms of the acquisition deal have not been disclosed.

Operating since 1991, C Myers is a management consultancy that specialises in asset liability management, strategic planning, and business model optimisation for financial institutions.

This focus will now be integrated into Strata's flagship financial planning platform, Axiom, to help mid-market firms manage risk, balance sheet, and profitability forecasting through one system.

For CEOs and boards, the combination will enable Axiom to provide services for strategic planning, leadership development, and succession planning while also providing financial planning and reporting tools for CFOs.

The deal will see C Myers' CEO, Adam Johnson, join Strata alongside the 80+ C Myers workforce.

C Myers is the third major acquisition by Strata since the firm was acquired by holding company Roper Technologies in January 2015.

The firm previously secured a $365 million deal for Allscripts' EPSi business unit in October 2020, followed by the acquisition of Syntellis Performance Solutions for $1.25 billion in August 2023.

It was this latter acquisition that added the Axiom platform to Strata, which has since worked to expand its original healthcare focus to a broader remit including operational enhancements for financial institutions.
