Showers and Storms Return Monday Before Drier Weather Arrives
A similar weather pattern is expected again Monday, with early morning showers and storms developing over the eastern Gulf waters before moving inland through the afternoon. A shift in the winds will bring slightly drier conditions to the area by the middle of the week. Moisture will begin to return by the end of the week and into next weekend. As clouds and rain chances increase, temperatures will cool slightly, with afternoon highs expected to drop into the upper 80s by next weekend.
