Saudi Startup Remedium Raises $1.5 Million Pre-Seed Round
The climate-tech startup will expand its AI-powered sustainability software and add water, waste and energy accounting tools.
Saudi-based sustainability software startup Remedium Network has raised $1.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Kaltaire Investments, with participation from undisclosed angel investors.
Founded by Fawaz Abu-Ghazaleh, Remedium develops software that processes environmental data into audit-ready disclosures, reporting and analytics. Its platform includes greenhouse gas emissions accounting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, helping enterprises track and report their environmental impact against ESG requirements.
The new funding will support further development of Remedium’s artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, including physical risk modelling, forecasting and automated generation of documents used in sustainability reporting.
Remedium also plans to introduce dedicated accounting modules for water, waste and energy management, each incorporating performance indicators and sector-specific document templates.
The startup is separately expanding its computing infrastructure with an emphasis on keeping client data within Saudi Arabia, aligning its platform with local data sovereignty and security requirements.
Remedium currently serves organisations across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region, with the latest round intended to support further regional expansion and more detailed environmental impact assessment tools.
