Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum Announces Summer Events and New Concert Series

The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum is giving Las Vegas residents several opportunities to escape the summer heat while experiencing live music, wellness programming and art.

Nevada’s only museum dedicated to a single artist will host two indoor events this weekend, beginning with a live jazz performance by the Fiddle & Fern Ensemble on Saturday, Aug. 22. A sound bath workshop will follow on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Tickets for each August event are $30.

The museum is also preparing to launch the second season of “RDA Performs,” its signature concert series curated by international award-winning pianist and Las Vegas native Dr. Alexandria Le.

This season, titled “Movement,” will run on select Saturdays from September through April. The series opens Sept. 26 with Hong Wang, a featured soloist whose work can be heard in films including *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon* and *Avatar*. Wang will perform alongside Le inside the museum’s main gallery.

Additional concerts throughout the season will feature Latin guitar, reimagined Broadway selections and festive dance works.

Each performance is limited to 75 guests, creating an intimate experience surrounded by the artwork of Rita Deanin Abbey. Concert admission also includes a post-show champagne toast and refreshments.

Tickets for individual “RDA Performs” concerts are $95.

The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum is located in Northwest Las Vegas and is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
