Recruitment of Startups for 1:1 Meetup at Gyeonggi Startup Summit in October…Applications Open Until August 21
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science are now recruiting startups to participate in the 1:1 business matchmaking (Meetup) at the "2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)" to be held at the Suwon Convention Center for two days on October 14 and 15. Applications will be accepted until the 21st.
The Gyeonggi Startup Summit is a global startup event hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the institute. It aims to connect innovative startups with domestic and international investment institutions, as well as large and medium-sized companies, offering opportunities to attract investment, form business partnerships, and venture into overseas markets.
This year’s 1:1 on-site Meetup will see the participation of more than 150 investment and business cooperation organizations, including domestic and international venture capital (VC), accelerators (AC), corporate venture capital (CVC), and major and mid-sized companies such as Posco Venture Capital, HL Group, and Kyobo Life Insurance. Participating startups will have the chance to meet directly with interested investors and companies to discuss possible investment and business collaborations.

In particular, this year features a pre-investment Meetup program (Invest Connect), which will be linked to on-site 1:1 Meetups during the main event in October to continue investment discussions.
The first pre-investment Meetup, held on June 30, achieved an investment review amount of 17 billion won through 60 matchmaking sessions. The second pre-investment Meetup will be held for two days from August 19 to August 20.
Ryu Soonyeol, Director of Venture Startup Division at Gyeonggi Province, said, "This year, we are focusing on expanding substantial investment opportunities for investors by connecting pre-investment Meetups, the main event, and subsequent investment reviews. We will actively support promising startups so that they can meet with investment institutions and make a leap into the global market."
