Provincial nominees invited in first Express Entry draw of August

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.

The immigration department issued 507 ITAs in a draw for Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination.

The latest selection round brings IRCC’s 2026 Express Entry draw count to 43.

Selections throughout the year have remained strongly oriented toward candidates with Canadian work experience and provincial nominations.

Over the course of 2026, IRCC has issued 105,123 ITAs through the following Express Entry draw types:
