Posh B.C. destination crowned best resort spa in Canada

A popular wellness retreat in Whistler has been named Canada’s best resort-based spa in the 12th annual World Spa Awards.

For the third year in a row, the Whistler Spa at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler was crowned Canada’s best resort spa for 2026.

It topped other highly rated nominees, including The Spa at Nita Lake Lodge, Pacific Mist Spa at Kingfisher Pacific Resort & Spa, and the spa at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

The Four Seasons’ spa in Whistler invites guests to relax and embrace their natural surroundings.

“Inspired by the land and the rich stories that define this region, our Whistler spa experience is rooted in balance and renewal,” it says on its website.

“Blending thoughtful techniques with elements of the alpine environment, our guided journeys create a restorative escape.”

Signature treatments include the Eucalyptus Steam Room, guided meditation, couples massages, and more.

The spa property has a cedar sauna and heated outdoor pool for relaxation after treatments.

Hospitality media group Time Out has ranked the coolest neighbourhoods worldwide, and the Vancouver spot cracked the top 40.

The neighbourhood was ranked in 35th place thanks to the unique independent businesses that call it home, its diverse culinary offerings, and its pedestrian-friendly nature.
