Fireworks, co-sponsored by the Town of Ponoka and the Ponoka Stampede Association, lit up the night sky in honour of Canada day over the Stampede Grounds at 11 p.m. on June 30.
On July 1, Hammy’s held its 44th annual Canada Day barbecue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There were burgers, smokies, drinks and ice cream treats.
