New store brings over 80 vendors together in Kitchener
A new store in Fairview Park Mall opened on Saturday in Kitchener, bringing together about 80 Canadian vendors. About 30 of those vendors are from the Kitchener area. The Local first began in London last year, when owners Lorenz and Rizzy Manaig launched the store in White Oaks Mall. They say vendor demand for a local, in-store presence is growing due to international competition on online platforms.
