MSS backs 103 AI tools to speed South Korea startup launches

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said it will unveil 50 AI solution providers and 103 solutions on the 11th to help participants in the second "Startup for All" project flesh out their ideas and advance their business models.

"Startup for All" is a project that helps any citizen with an idea attempt to start a business, receive education, mentoring, and phased support, and grow into startup talent. The AI solution support program assists with tasks needed to prepare for a startup—such as market research, content creation, and service development—to turn participants' ideas into actual products and services.

The providers and solutions will be released on the 12th. The focus was on quality so participants can easily choose and actually use the solutions needed in the startup process. An evaluation committee of AI and software technology experts used the applicant solutions and reviewed their versatility, the appropriateness of technology and price, and security.

The selected solutions help with tasks needed to prepare for a startup, from building websites to generating promotional content and drafting contracts. Participants can build websites that introduce their products and services with AI or produce product images and promotional content to turn their ideas into deliverables. This is expected to ease the burden of startup preparation and refine and develop participants' ideas.

The AI solution list can be found on the "Startup for All platform." Key functions and how to use each solution can be checked from the 14th. Those advancing to round 1 of the second "Startup for All" can use AI solutions with a per-person limit of 1 million won. Starting on the 16th, applicants can select the necessary solutions on the platform and apply to use them.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will also strengthen usage guidance so participants can easily grasp each solution's functions and purpose. It plans to provide explanatory videos for each solution to help compare and choose services and use them effectively for startup preparation. The explanatory videos will be available on the platform from the 16th.
