Mirzapur: The Movie box office: Pankaj Tripathi film crosses ₹200 crore worldwide

Mirzapur: The Movie has crossed the ₹200-crore mark in worldwide gross collections within its first seven days in theatres, with strong domestic performance helping the Pankaj Tripathi-led film maintain its momentum through the opening week.

The film collected ₹10.55 crore net in India on its seventh day, taking its first-week domestic net total to ₹148.45 crore. Its India gross stood at ₹176.94 crore. The Day 7 figure was 15.9% lower than the ₹12.55 crore recorded on Day 6.

The film's overseas business added another ₹2.50 crore on Day 7, taking its cumulative international gross to ₹35.50 crore. With the India gross and overseas earnings combined, the worldwide gross reached ₹212.44 crore.

The movie opened with ₹25.75 crore on Friday before gaining pace over the weekend. Saturday contributed ₹32 crore, while Sunday delivered its best single-day collection of ₹36 crore. Collections then moderated during the weekdays, with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday contributing ₹16 crore, ₹15.60 crore and ₹12.55 crore, respectively.

The film recorded 25.9% overall occupancy on Thursday across 10,379 shows. The Hindi version accounted for almost the entire domestic Day 7 business, earning ₹10.50 crore from 10,295 shows at 26% occupancy. The Telugu version contributed ₹5 lakh from 84 shows.

Night screenings remained the strongest-performing slot for the Hindi 2D version, with occupancy reaching 43%. The film has also performed particularly well in smaller centres, with strong audience response reported in parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

With its worldwide total at ₹212.44 crore, Mirzapur: The Movie has moved ahead of Awarapan 2, which has earned just over ₹212 crore worldwide. It is now looking to close the gap with Dhamaal 4, at ₹224 crore, and Bhooth Bangla, at ₹247 crore.

The film is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. Gurmeet Singh directed the movie, with Puneet Krishna credited as writer. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar produced it under Excel Entertainment.

Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen Bhaiya, alongside Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit and Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi. Jitendra Kumar plays Bablu Pandit, while Ravi Kishan features as Babban Babua.
