Mark Carney visits Stampede
Prime Minister Mark Carney made his transition from the Middle East to the Canadian west Saturday night mingling with visitors at the Calgary Stampede and taking in the evening chuckwagon races. Carney traded in his traditional business suit for Stampede appropriate attire including a white cowboy hat, blue western shirt, blue jeans and a belt buckle. (July 12, 2026)
