Man in stable condition after stabbing in Stittsville
A man is in stable condition after being stabbed in Ottawa's west end Saturday night, city paramedics say.
Paramedics were called to Brightside Avenue in Stittsville at 9:33 p.m., a spokesperson said.
A man in his 50s was treated at the scene, they said, and taken to a local trauma centre in stable condition.
A spokesperson for the Ottawa Police Service told CBC News that they received a call about an assault with an edged weapon around 9:40 p.m. Saturday.
They said their investigation is ongoing.
