Man in custody following alleged stabbing at Corner Brook mall
Man taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
A man is in custody after an alleged stabbing at the Valley Mall in Corner Brook, N.L., on Monday night.
In a Facebook post at 8:15 p.m., the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the male victim was taken to hospital with what police describe as serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say an investigation is ongoing but that "there is no threat to public safety."

There was police tape and officers around the scene as of Monday night.
Police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
