Man dies after Mini crashes into bridge
A man has died after the car he was driving collided with a bridge.
Northamptonshire Police said the crash happened at about 04:35 BST on Saturday in Wollaston, near Wellingborough.
A black Mini collided with a bridge parapet on Hardwater Road, with no other vehicles involved.
The driver, a man in his thirties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he later died.
The force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit has appealed for witnesses to the crash, or to anyone who might have dashcam footage.
