Man dies after highway motorcycle accident near Domremy, Sask.

A man is dead after his motorcycle was found in a slough Saturday alongside Highway 2, a little over 1 km north of Domremy, Sask.

The St. Louis Fire Department said in a statement on social media that it was dispatched at 9:42 a.m. Saturday morning after getting a report of a motorcycle in a slough.

The Fire Chief found a man who had been pulled from the water by bystanders. Department members began CPR and lifesaving efforts until EMS arrived, but despite their efforts, the man died.

Wakaw EMS, Saskatchewan RCMP, and STARS all arrived on after the fire department.

The St. Louis Fire Department thanked bystanders for their quick actions, and first responders for their support in the statement.
