June 15: World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

To raise awareness, Town buildings will be bathed in purple light and free purple ribbons will be available for pickup by residents from FCSS at 821 Switzer Dr.

This day represents a global commitment to understanding, preventing, and responding to the abuse and neglect of older adults. The Town of Hinton is committed to promoting older adults’ right to live with dignity, security, and the opportunity to contribute to the community.
