Indian startups raised over $469 million from August 17 to August 22, 2026; Wispr Flow tops the list
Between August 17 to August 22, 2026, as many as 20 Indian startups from diverse sectors raised over $469.8 million in funding from investors. That is 94% up week-on-week from $242.55 million recorded in the previous week, when Yulu topped the chart with a $93 million round.
Voice AI startup Wispr Flow topped this week's chart with a $280 million round from Menlo Ventures, accounting for nearly 60% of the week's total capital.
Four rounds crossed $20 million this week: Wispr's $280 million, Navi's $100 million, CtrlS's $26.11 million and NeoGeoInfo Technologies' $20 million round. Together they made up more than 90% of the week's capital.
The sectors that got funded this week include Fintech, Traveltech, AI, Agritech, Healthtech, Data Centre Infrastructure, Geospatial, Cleantech, Quickcommerce, Footwear, Robotics, Healthcare, Watches, Skincare, Foodtech, Enterprise AI.
Weekly funding rose sharply after two flat weeks, nearly doubling from $242.55 million to $469.8 million between August 10 and August 22.

The top five raised about $438.61 million between them, roughly 93% of the week's total.
Wispr raised $280 million (about Rs 2,674 crore) in a Series B round led by Menlo Ventures, with existing investors Notable Capital, NEA, Neo Ventures, 8VC and MVP Ventures also joining. The round values the San Francisco-based startup at $2 billion, less than 10 months after its previous raise.
Wispr builds AI-powered speech-to-text software that helps people write and complete workplace tasks using voice. The new capital will go toward improving its speech AI technology, including its new Canto model, and expanding into tasks like meeting note-taking.
Navi raised $100 million (about Rs 955 crore) from Dutch investor Prosus, in a deal that values the Bengaluru fintech at about $1.3 billion. The investment came through MIH Payments Holdings BV, a Prosus subsidiary, and was cleared by the CCI.
Navi offers digital payments, lending, mutual funds and insurance, and is built by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal. The funding comes as the company weighs another attempt at a stock market listing.
CtrlS raised Rs 250 crore (about $26.11 million) from Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and entrepreneur Sreeram Reddy Vanga, with Kamath putting in Rs 200 crore and Vanga the remaining Rs 50 crore.
The Hyderabad-based company runs 19 data centres across nine Indian markets with more than 370 MW of capacity. The fresh capital will fund further expansion as demand from enterprises and hyperscalers grows on the back of AI and cloud computing.
NeoGeoInfo Technologies raised $20 million (about Rs 191 crore) in a Series A round co-led by Neev Fund II and Aavishkaar Capital.
The Gurugram-based startup builds geospatial intelligence platforms for governments and businesses, using satellite imagery, LiDAR and drones. It plans to use the money to expand its product portfolio, invest in R&D and grow internationally beyond its current presence in West Asia.
Rezolv raised $12.5 million (about Rs 119.4 crore) in a Series A round led by Norwest, with Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India and existing investor 3one4 Capital also participating.
The Mumbai-based startup builds AI tools for banks and NBFCs that automate lending and debt-collection workflows, from welcome calls to loan write-offs. It plans to use the funding to strengthen its AI capabilities across sales, risk, underwriting and collections.
Peeko raised Rs 67.4 crore ($7 million) in a Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures, with Stellaris Venture Partners and angel investors also joining. The Bengaluru startup runs a quick-commerce platform for baby and kids' products, delivering in under 60 minutes, and will use the money for expansion, technology and hiring.
Butterfly Learnings raised Rs 65 crore (apporx. $6.79 million) in a pre-Series B round led by Inflexor Ventures, with Enzia Ventures, Insitor Impact Asia Fund and IIMA Ventures also participating. The Mumbai-based startup runs a paediatric behavioural health platform for neurodivergent children and plans to expand its network, its autism screening tool Get SET Early, and its therapist training programme.
Lissun raised Rs 48 crore (about $5 million) in a Series A round led by Colossa Ventures, with Physis Capital and existing backers including RPSG Capital Ventures, Ivycap Ventures and Rainmatter joining. The Gurugram-based startup runs Sunshine by LISSUN, a network of child development centres for children with special needs, and will use the funds to expand centres and build AI-led tools.
Honest Farms raised Rs 35 crore (approx. $3.66 million) in a pre-Series A round led by OTP Ventures, with Sadev Capital and Maiuni Ventures also joining. The Bengaluru-based pesticide-free food brand, launched by agritech startup DeHaat, will use the funds to expand into new markets and widen its product range.
Be Clinical raised Rs 21 crore (about $2.2 million) in a seed extension led by Sauce, with V3 Ventures and several angel investors also participating. The Delhi-based skincare brand focuses on ageing-related skin concerns and will use the funds for R&D, manufacturing capacity and new markets.
AlgoFET raised Rs 15 crore ($1.57 million) in a pre-Series A round from Piper Serica. The Bengaluru-based startup builds autonomous ground infrastructure for drones, including docking, charging and battery management systems, and will use the funds to expand manufacturing and deployments in defence and enterprise markets.
First Coffee raised $1.3 million (Rs 12.4 crore) in a pre-Series A round led by DG Daiwa Ventures, with existing investor BEENEXT and angel investors also joining. The Delhi-based speciality coffee chain, which runs 25 stores across Delhi, Punjab and Haryana, will use the funds to expand into Tier-2 cities.
Yantra Packs raised Rs 12 crore ($1.25 million) in seed funding from Caret Capital. The Gurugram-based startup provides reusable pallets, crates and containers to industrial supply chains through rental and pooling models, and will use the funds to expand operations and its packaging asset pool.
Hindustan Unilever acquired skincare brand Minimalist this week, adding it to its beauty and personal care portfolio. The deal size was not shared publicly.
