Indian startups raised over $412 million from September 7 to September 12, 2026; Pixxel tops the list

Between September 7 to September 12, 2026, as many as 24 Indian startups from diverse sectors raised over $412.81 million in funding from investors. That is 42% up week-on-week from $290.91 million logged the previous week, when Slice Small Finance Bank raised $100 million.

Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Pixxel topped this week's chart with a $100 million Series C round from Temasek and Seraphim Space, accounting for nearly 24% of the week's total capital.

Seven rounds crossed $20 million this week, and together they carried most of the total. Pixxel's $100 million round, Popo Global's $55.66 million investment and Nua's $50 million Series C alone added up to more than $205 million, roughly half the week's money.

The sectors that got funded this week include Healthtech, Spacetech, Petcare, Proptech, Homeservices, Foodtech, Watertech, Cybersecurity, Fashion, Beverages, Autotech, Beauty, Services, Fintech, Cleantech, AI, Travel, Gaming, Robotics.

Weekly funding rose for the second straight week, climbing from $215.17 million in late August to $290.91 million and now $412.81 million, an increase of about 42% over the previous week.

Every startup that raised money this week is listed below, with amount, stage, sector, investors and city. The table covers all 24 rounds tracked between September 7 and September 12.

The top five raised about $277.16 million between them, roughly 67% of the week's total.

Pixxel raised $100 million (Rs 955 crore) in a Series C round co-led by Temasek and Seraphim Space, with 360 ONE Asset, IMM Investment, Radical Ventures and growX Ventures also taking part.

The startup builds hyperspectral Earth observation satellites and currently operates six Firefly satellites in orbit. The capital will fund its Honeybee constellation, expand satellite manufacturing in India and the US, and grow its Aurora data platform.

Popo Global raised Rs 532 crore ($55.66 million) from Artal Asia in exchange for a significant minority stake, the first external institutional investment in the business. The Rainmaker Group advised Popo Global on the transaction.

The company runs three restaurant brands, The Pizza Bakery, Paris Panini and Smash Guys, across more than 40 outlets. It plans to use the money to expand its restaurant footprint across India.

Nua raised $50 million (Rs 477.5 crore) in a Series C round led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, with Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also participating. Part of the round was secondary, giving partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and early angel investors.

The startup sells period care, maternity care and intimate wellness products and reaches more than three million women each month. It plans to spend the money on brand building, distribution and new product development.

HerSpace Manufacturing raised $40 million (Rs 382 crore) from existing investor Gray Matters Capital, taking the investor's total backing of the company to $50 million. The funding will be deployed over the next 30 months through a mix of debt, quasi-equity and equity.

The Bengaluru startup builds and operates modular worker housing near industrial hubs, including access-controlled accommodation for women. It plans to expand its housing operations in Greater Bengaluru, Hosur, Chennai and Andhra Pradesh.

Greenwave Circularity secured a $31.5 million (Rs 300.8 crore) credit line from OeEB, the Development Bank of Austria, to build a PET recycling plant in Odisha. Intellecap advised Greenwave on the fundraising.

The facility is billed as India's first fully integrated, closed-loop greenfield PET recycling plant, with a planned annual capacity of 42,000 tonnes. Greenwave is a joint venture between Moon Beverage, Jainarain Fabtech and founder Devang Kumar.

Swish raised $24 million (about Rs 229.2 crore) in a round led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global also joining.

The startup runs neighbourhood kitchens that cook and deliver food within an average one-kilometre radius, and plans to use the money to scale its 10-minute delivery model.

QNu Labs raised Rs 200 crore (about $20.93 million) in a Series A1 round led by the National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest, with Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital and Artha Ventures also joining.

The Bengaluru startup builds quantum-safe cybersecurity technology and will use the funds for R&D and to scale sales in India and abroad.

Mokobara raised Rs 170 crore (approx $17.79 million) in a Series C round led by existing investor Sauce.VC, with Peak XV Partners, AYRA Ventures and Niveshaay Investment also joining. The brand sells luggage and accessories through 52 stores and online, and part of the round included secondary sales for ESOPs and the team.

Piston raised $15 million (about Rs 143.2 crore) in a Series A round led by FPV Ventures, with Spark Capital and Pear VC also participating. The California startup runs a cardless fuel payments network for commercial fleets in the US and plans to expand coverage nationwide.

Graph AI raised $13.3 million (about Rs 127 crore) in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, with existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also joining.

The startup builds AI software that automates pharmaceutical patient safety case processing and plans to use the money to expand across the US and Europe.

Carrum Mobility raised $10 million (Rs 95.5 crore) from Uber, its second investment in the company this year. The Bengaluru startup manages a fleet of CNG and electric vehicles for ride-hailing drivers and will use the money to expand and support Uber Black's rollout.

Theater raised Rs 75 crore or $7.85 million in a Series A round led by Niveshaay, with new investor Physis Capital and existing investor Prath Ventures also joining. The Chandigarh-based brand sells footwear, bags and accessories and plans to use the funds to expand offline retail and brand marketing.

Jaipur Robotics raised Rs 47.2 crore (about $4.94 million) in a seed round led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds. The startup builds computer vision systems that monitor waste in industrial plants and plans to use the funds to expand into new regions.

Nykaa increased its stake in skincare brand Earth Rhythm, deepening a holding it had already built through earlier investment. The move adds to Nykaa's pattern of taking greater ownership in the D2C beauty brands it backs.

Udaan acquired Lynk, the retail distribution business Swiggy had built to supply neighbourhood kirana stores. The deal gives Udaan a working distribution network in a segment it competes for directly.
