Heat returns to the Valley, storms for high country
Valley rain chances will remain slim tonight and into Monday. However, Monday's storms on the Rim could send outflows to the Valley late at night, and will be monitored for any additional rain development. Conditions look more ripe for the showers in the lower deserts by Tuesday before backing off into the rest of the work week. As the work week progresses, high pressure will intensify and send temperatures climbing into the late week. Temperatures are expected to approach 110 degrees again by next weekend, with a major heat risk in place.
