A crash course in artificial intelligence, how it can be integrated in workflows and building partnerships are among the facets of the Haverhill AI Summit in two weeks.

Featured speakers include Scott Latham, UMass Lowell; Dan Sarofian-Butin, Merrimack College; Perry Bailes, AI consultant and founder of Support Forge; and Seth Codes, of Haverhill’s Uncommon Catalyst. Latham discusses technology, workforce and community readiness, while Sarofian-Butin talks about education, workforce and business integration. In featured sessions, Bailes leads a discussion of AI integration for small- and medium-sized businesses and advanced manufacturers and Cordes focuses on ethics, trust and responsible AI.

The free, afternoon-long conference is geared to manufacturers, small businesses, educators and students, economic development advocates and others. It takes place Thursday, June 18, from 12:45-4:30 p.m., at Pinnacle at Harbor Place, 2 Merrimack St., Haverhill. Online registration is required as seats are limited.

Haverhill Mayor Melinda E. Barrett is scheduled to open the summit, a partnership of the city, Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, Greater Haverhill Foundation, Haverhill High and Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High Schools, Northern Essex Community College, Make IT Haverhill and Haverhill Public Private Partnership, known as HP3.
