Some of Canada’s biggest rock acts will take the stage in Langford as the Great Canadian Bash returns to Starlight Stadium on Saturday (June 27).
Held on the weekend ahead of Canada Day, the all-ages event will feature performances by Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party, Cold Fame and Canadian pop-rock artist Darrian Gerard.
The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the Great Canadian Cookout pre-concert celebration, featuring a barbecue and music from DJ Devlin. Gerard will perform on the side stage at 4:30 p.m., before the main stage programming begins at 7 p.m. with The Tea Party. Headliners Our Lady Peace are scheduled to take the stage at 8:45 p.m.
Known for hits spanning more than three decades, Our Lady Peace has sold more than five million albums worldwide and generated more than 360 million streams.
Food trucks and local vendors will be on site throughout the day, while VIP experiences, group tickets and luxury suites are also available.
The event will support the ReWired Recovery Foundation, with $2.50 from every ticket sold going to the non-profit organization, which works to support people experiencing addiction.
The South Island Primary Care Society will also host a 50/50 fundraiser during the event to help support its new Langford clinic. The non-profit organization focuses on improving access to family doctors in Langford and across the South Island.
The Starlight Stadium box office will open at 1 p.m. on the day of the event. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
