EVENT: Artificial Intelligence and Work in a Remade World
Join Arena, NIBS and Search Foundation for this roundtable discussion, tackling what the rapid acceleration of artificial intelligence (AI) means for work and labour. We will try and get a handle on the different ways in which AI threatens to completely transfigure the relation the worker has to their work and the wider world. By bringing these three perspectives together, this discussion aims to bring a more critical dimension into focus: not just thinking narrowly as to the consequences of AI’s on our working lives, but rather to cut deeper into what this means in our fraught historical moment.
Speakers are Lilia Anderson, Christopher O’Neill and Timothy Erik Ström.
