EDF reviews progress of two startup investment programmes
The Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) Monday convened a meeting to review the progress of the ‘Pipeline-Referral Investment Program’ and the ‘Startup Investment Package Program Cohort 2’, aiming to strengthen financing and investment opportunities for high-potential startups.
The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Director of the Secretariat of EDF Kong Marry, and attended by Vice Chairman of the Secretariat of EDF Aun Pornmonireachsak, in Phnom Penh on September 14.
According to an EDF announcement, the meeting reviewed the implementation progress of the ‘Pipeline-Referral Investment Program’ and the ‘Startup Investment Package Program Cohort 2’, focusing on the implementation progress of both programmes, key challenges encountered and directions for the next steps.
The meeting also aimed to ensure that the programmes continue advancing in line with their objectives and implementation plans, while strengthening access to financing and investment opportunities for high-potential startups in Cambodia.
