2 men dead in Stoney Creek shooting, Hamilton police say
Police say shooting occurred on Candlewood Drive
Two men are dead following an early-morning shooting in Hamilton's Stoney Creek area, police said Wednesday.
Around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to reports on gunshots at a complex on Candlewood Drive, Hamilton Police Service spokesperson Trevor McKenna said in an email to CBC News.
First responders found two people who had been shot and took them to hospital, where medical professionals pronounced them dead, McKenna said.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information or security camera footage to get in touch.
