Cyclist in his 20s dies after crash involving van

A cyclist in his 20s has died in a crash involving a van.

Wiltshire Police said the cyclist had been travelling southbound and a van was travelling northbound on The Avenue in Wilton, near Salisbury in Wiltshire, when the incident happened at about 17:45 BST on Saturday.

"The cyclist - a man in his 20s from Salisbury - sustained a head injury as a result of the collision and sadly died," police said.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, or may have dashcam or CCTV footage, has been asked to contact police.
