Crews extinguish fire at Perth recycling centre
Fire crews have extinguished a blaze at a recycling centre in Perth after tackling it overnight.
Four appliances, a water carrier and a height vehicle were initially called to the fire at the Friarton Bridge Park at about 17:00 on Saturday.
Local residents were warned to keep windows and doors closed due to "heavy smoke" in the area.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said crews left the scene at about 08:30 on Sunday, with a reinspection to ensure the site's safety scheduled for later in the day.
