Claude for Designers: Your AI Assistant, Set Up to Serve

Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming an indispensable business tool, but for lots of designers, getting started can feel overwhelming. With so many platforms, features and use cases, it’s easy to dismiss AI as too technical or difficult to integrate into an already busy workflow. But the reality is, when set up correctly, AI platform Claude can become a powerful assistant for the everyday work of running a design firm. In this Launch class, Jessica Nelson, co-founder of AI for Interiors and principal of Etch Design Group, will show designers how to employ Claude, one of the most impactful AI apps available today, as an extension of your business. She’ll cover the features that matter most to interior designers, and walk attendees through exactly how to open a Claude account, configure it to reflect your brand voice and put it to work right away. You’ll learn how to provide the context Claude needs to understand your firm’s identity and standards; organize your workflow through Projects; and use the platform to streamline day-to-day tasks, from client communication and proposals to internal documentation and team collaboration. This hands-on session requires no prior AI experience and will equip attendees with a practical setup they can begin using immediately. In this class, attendees will learn how to: - Get started with Claude, from account personalization to connectors, and configure it for your business - Set up Claude Projects to consolidate brand voice and organize internal processes and client work - Train Claude to support time-consuming tasks, including documentation and drafting emails and proposals After this class, attendees will have: - A Claude account set up and ready to use, with your firm’s voice and branding details integrated - At least one working Claude Project you can use with your team immediately - An understanding of how to create a Claude Skill to help expedite repetitive tasks and processes - The confidence to continue building and customizing Claude to support your business Additional Information: This workshop is conducted through Zoom webinar.
