Child in critical condition after crash near Osgoode
Ottawa paramedics say a child is in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Dalmeny Road and Nixon Drive.
First responders with both the Ottawa and Leeds-Grenville paramedic services were called to the intersection, just south of Osgoode, around 11:50 a.m. Sunday.
They treated two patients, a child and a woman in her 40s, said Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson Tyler Leslie.
The child was taken to the Kemptville District Hospital in critical condition, Leslie said, while the woman's condition is serious.
Both were in the same car, he said.
On June 19, another collision at that same intersection sent four people to hospital, including another child who was airlifted to hospital in serious but stable condition.
