Cascador selects 10 Nigerian companies for 2026 ScaleUp Programme

The 12-week programme drew more than 1,000 qualified applications and includes businesses working across healthcare, agriculture, energy, manufacturing and other sectors

Cascador has selected 10 Nigerian growth-stage companies for its 2026 ScaleUp Programme, which begins this month and will run for 12 weeks. The programme is aimed at companies that have moved beyond the startup phase and are seeking support to expand their businesses.

More than 1,000 qualified applications were submitted for the 2026 programme, more than double the number recorded in 2025. The selected companies are Venco, SunFi, ColdHubs, EHA Clinics, Beauty Hut Africa, BEYOND Fitness, Ziba Beach Resort, Tulay Africa, Maanj Agric and Finger Chops.

The cohort covers businesses operating across clean energy, food production, healthcare, agriculture, tourism, minerals, wellness, beauty and property technology. The range of sectors marks a broader focus than programmes centered mainly on fintech and technology companies.

The increase in applications also points to a larger pool of Nigerian businesses reaching the stage at which structured support for expansion becomes relevant. The 2026 cohort brings together companies operating in areas tied to services and industries beyond the financial technology sector.
