Carney government faces criticism amid warming relations with China
For the first time in more than a decade, China’s foreign minister is back in Canada for a diplomatic visit to Ottawa. It makes the latest evidence of warming relations as both nations look to deepen economic ties. But as David Akin reports, it’s opening the Carney government to criticism that it’s looking past threats of foreign interference from Beijing.
