Calgary police investigate stabbing in downtown parkade

Calgary police are investigating an early morning stabbing that took place at a downtown parkade Sunday.

At 2:30 a.m., Calgary police and EMS attended to a male who was stabbed at the 231 6 Ave. S.W. Bow Parkade.

The victim was sent to hospital in life-threatening condition but was updated to stable condition, Calgary police said in an afternoon update.

Police request anyone who was in the Bow Parkade between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. with information relating to the event to call them at 403-266-1234 or submit a tip anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
