Two vehicles collided head-on: police
Three people were involved in a two-vehicle collision that has closed boulevard des Allumettières west of downtown Friday, according to Gatineau, Que., police.
Gatineau police told Radio-Canada the collision happened shortly after midnight Friday on boulevard des Allumettières between chemin Vanier and boulevard des Grives.
There were some serious injuries, police said, but they did not confirm how many were injured.
Boulevard des Allumettières is closed in the area, which is causing traffic congestion problems as people avoid the busy arterial road.
