Books & Backroads: Postcard from Alberton
This week, CBC's Books & Backroads summer series is visiting a book club in Alberton on the western tip of Prince Edward Island. Club members Holly Gordon and Melissa Heald, along with Alberton library employee Kelly Gillis, describe the natural beauty and friendly feeling of the fishing community. Their latest read is The Luckiest Ones: A Memoir of Fishing, Family, and Facing Cancer by Vicki Reddin-Gauthier.
