Dignitaries at the BeTCA Tech Meet 2026 in Belagavi SaturdayDignitaries at the BeTCA Tech Meet 2026 in Belagavi Saturday12 Belagavi: Belagavi’s growing technology ecosystem took centre stage at the fifth BeTCA Tech Meet 2026, held at the Belgaum Foundry Cluster Saturday evening under the theme ‘Engineering the future: AI, DeepTech and security’.Organised by the Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA), the event brought together entrepreneurs, founders, engineers, startups, industry experts and technology enthusiasts.An exhibition showcased products and solutions developed by local companies in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, aerospace, defence technology, embedded systems, healthcare and engineering solutions. BeTCA member companies launched eight technology products and platforms, including aerospace and defence solutions, AI-driven healthcare platforms, product engineering tools, business automation applications, service aggregation platforms and intelligent CRM systems.BeTCA also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Goa Technology Companies Association (GTCA) to encourage collaboration, knowledge exchange, networking and joint initiatives.In his keynote address, Deepak Shapeti, co-founder and CEO of Morphing Machines, spoke about innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities in Belagavi’s technology ecosystem.Panel discussions covered cybersecurity, taking ideas to commercial products, and Belagavi’s startup ecosystem.Participants included Saleem Landur, Hitesh Dharmdasani, Swapneel Patnekar, Aadil Bandukwala, Murali Srinivasa, Uma Bondada, Tulasidas Salunkhe, Mehmood Athani, Swathi Gururaj Kulkarni and Ian Nazareth.Stay updated with the latest Hubballi news.
