Bagger World Cup welcomes Max Toth for Silverstone
Young American rider joins Saddlemen Race Development for Round 4 as he and Bradley Smith make their FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup debut at the British Grand Prix. Smith will also appear at Thursday's fan event in central London ahead of the race weekend.
MILWAUKEE, WI (4 August 2026) — The FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup returns to action on August 7–9 at Silverstone Circuit for Round 4 of its inaugural season, taking place alongside the MotoGP™ British Grand Prix.
Harley-Davidson confirms an update to the official entry list for the British round, with American rider Max Toth joining Saddlemen Race Development in place of Cory West, who sustained injuries during practice for the recent MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers round at Mid-Ohio.
One of the rising talents in American road racing, Toth has progressed through the MotoAmerica ranks and already has experience aboard the Saddlemen Harley-Davidson Road Glide. He made his Mission King of the Baggers debut with the team at Ridge Motorsports Park, where he substituted for Saddlemen's regular riders while they were competing in the Mugello round of the Bagger World Cup. Silverstone will mark his first appearance in the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup.
David Echert – Team Owner, Saddlemen Race Development"Cory's crash at Mid-Ohio was a difficult moment for everyone in our team, and we're thankful the outcome wasn't more serious. Everyone at Saddlemen Race Development is wishing Cory a full and speedy recovery, and we'll be behind him every step of the way as he works towards returning to the track. As Cory focuses on his recovery, we're pleased to have Max Toth stepping in once again. He proved himself to be a valuable addition to the team earlier this season, and we have complete confidence that he'll do a great job for us at Silverstone. Until Cory is ready to return, we'll be racing for him."
Max Toth – Rider"Firstly, I'd like to wish Cory the smoothest and quickest recovery following his crash. To have the opportunity to join the MotoGP paddock in the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup is monumental for me and for all the people supporting me in my corner. I want to thank everybody at Saddlemen for trusting me and bringing me into their project, and I look forward to giving 110% at Silverstone and hitting the ground running!"
Toth's addition completes the 11-rider field for Round 4, which also includes the previously announced wildcard appearance of former MotoGP™ race winner Bradley Smith. Racing for ParkinGO Team, Smith will make his championship debut in front of his home crowd.

Three rounds have already produced six spectacular races and four different winners. As the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup returns to the MotoGP™ paddock at Silverstone, the championship battle remains extremely close, matching the intensity and unpredictability of this year's MotoGP title fight, one of the most compelling in recent seasons.
After six races, the championship standings are:

With only 14 points separating the top three riders and 150 points still available across the remaining three rounds at Silverstone, Aragón and the Red Bull Ring, the inaugural Bagger World Cup title remains very much up for grabs. While Granado, Gutiérrez and McDonald lead the standings, both Andrea Iannone and Jake Lewis remain firmly in contention, setting the stage for an exciting second half of the season.
