It is not only Hispanics in America who voted, in large numbers, for Donald Trump in 2024 and then regretted it. There are other minorities as well. They, however, should have been the last people to vote for him, given his disparaging rhetoric toward them and his fundamental anti-immigration policy. The numbers are revealing: In 2016, Trump received approximately 3.6 million Hispanic votes. In 2024, approximately 9.0 million. That is an increase of 5.4 million votes between 2016 and 2024.
