Amazing Race Canada to feature Falkland Stampede

Hold onto your cowboy hats, Falkland residents, The Amazing Race Canada is coming to town.

The Falkland Stampede has announced that the hit reality TV show will be airing a locally shot episode next week.

Falkland will be featured in episode three of season 12 of The Amazing Race Canada.

“Watch as teams begin the leg in Falkland, home of the iconic Falkland Stampede, where they’ll be immersed in the dust, excitement, and traditions that have made this event legendary,” the Stampede said on social media Wednesday, July 15.

The episode will air Tuesday, July 21 at 9 p.m. on CTV, and can be streamed the next day on Crave.

The Amazing Race Canada is a CTV reality TV show based on the American series The Amazing Race. The show pits teams of two racers against each other as they compete in various challenges in unique locations across the country.

Season 12 premiered on July 7, beginning in Whistler Village. Kelowna is another stop in season 12.
