Airtel Africa Foundation Expands Tech Fellowship to Zambia
Through Airtel Zambia, the Foundation will support 50 students over five years as they pursue ICT and technology-related degrees at the University of Zambia (UNZA) and Copperbelt University (CBU).
The Airtel Africa Foundation is expanding its Tech Fellowship programme to Zambia, supporting young people from underserved backgrounds with access to ICT and technology education.
The fellowship will cover tuition, accommodation, laptops, internet connectivity and monthly allowances, while also providing mentorship and career development opportunities.
The programme is designed to help increase access to technology education and develop a pipeline of skilled technology professionals who can contribute to Zambia’s digital economy.
Applications are currently open to eligible first-year students.
